Assemble your hydraulic coil spring compressor and start replacing your shock absorbers or struts. Do it yourself but do it safely. Coiled springs can be dangerous. Make sure you always use the locking chain.
Work on springs rated up to 3000kg. Your coil spring compressor costs money but it will save you money. Each tool you add to collection is one less thing you need to pay a mechanic for.
Keep everything secure on your strut spring compressor. Compress the spring with your foot. Your spring compressor tool will hold everything tight while you need to do your thing. There are different clamps for different sized springs.
Lower your car. Replace your factory OEM springs with lowered springs. Just use your hydraulic spring compressor tool to help replace them. You could always go straight to coilovers but go with the bang for your buck option.
Make sure your hydraulic spring compressor is nice and sturdy. Bolt it to the ground. You don’t want to have your spring compressor tip over when you are in the middle of replacing your shock absorbers.
