Van Gogh arrived in Arles just before the start of spring. The city was surrounded by blooming fruit orchards, which Van Gogh dedicated an entire series of studies to. The long branches suggest that these were poorly maintained plum trees, but Van Gogh loved the marks of life they bore. The Orchard quilt cover is made from 100% cotton sateen. Printed in pink, white, green, brown, yellow, blue, red, black, grey, teal, and natural colour tones.
